I will be visiting Shanghai. I have found a flight from Hangzhou International on Air Asia. We are two senior citizens in good shape with light luggage. Are there any trains or transportation that go directly to the airport from Shanghai? (Train, bullet train, Air Asia bus, Airport Shuttle)

Thank you for your assistance. M. Grillo

Hi Grillo,
Currently, there is no direct transport from Shanghai to Hangzhou Airport. So, if possible, try this one~
Firstly, take the bullet train from Shanghai South Railway Station to Hangzhou Railway Station (please note that it is not the Hangzhou East Railway Station)
The journey is about 1.5 hours and the fare is 63RMB per person. Tips: you could purchase the train ticket at any railway station in Shanghai one day in advance.

Second, after arrive at Hangzhou, you could find the shuttle bus to Hangzhou Airport in front of the railway station's square. The bus fare is 15RMB per person and the takes 40 minutes on the way.

Hope this helps~
