An F visa is needed for attending conference in China. The required documents are as follow:
1. An actual passport with a minimum of six month validity left and enough blank visa pages left
2. A passport-style photo attached to a duly-filled application form
3. An invitation letter or visa notification form from an authorized Chinese organization
