About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Hello,

I am entering China tomorrow (June 3) on a tourist visa (one month one entry).

On June 30 I am leaving China for three weeks in Japan, after which I want to come back to China.

Is there any way to extend or pause my visa so it'll still be valid when I re-enter China or will I have to get a new visa in Japan?

Thanks a bunch,
Guy

To apply for a Chinese visa at the consulate in Japan, you are required to have a Japanese long-stay visa(at least one year). This is the information posted on the embassy's website. Well, you can have a try to apply at the China embassy there.
