Hello，i am a Chinese Girl live in Guangzhou, i think it's safe even though u r alone. of cause u should not go out in the late night. people here mostly are friendly and would like to help. there are many hotels in downtown and city centre, the cost is much cheaper in downtown, cos i saw many hotels near my office. and i think that it needb't booking in advance. it's not a cross time.

All I know is East Asia Hotel, I will really appreciate if you can give me the names or contacts budget hotels close to the down town..also, as I am arriving around 5pm on Guangzhou Araport...do you think it will be easier for me to take the bus to the city or Taxi? how much Taxi cost? and is it safe women take a taxi in the evening?.Thank you all

Hi, around 5pm, all of the airport shuttle bus lines are in operation. So, you could take a shuttle to the city area easily, no need to hail a taxi which costs much more. Don't take taxi late at night, the other tims should be safe. Well, keep your hotel or friends' name and cell phone is necessary.
