About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi
I'm a Malaysian staying in Belgium and we're planning a trip to Beijing this July travelling from Malaysia. My husband a Belgian applied for his Visa to China in Brussel but I have to apply for mine in KL bcos my passport doesn't have 6 mths validity and got to be renewed in Msia first. My question is do I need to mention anything about my resident status in Belgium at all? Many thanks.

You wanna renew your passport in Belgium? If there is a Malaysian embassy or consulate in Belgium, you can renew your passport there and a copy of your residence permit in Belgium is required. If you go back to renew your passport in KL, it is not required, I think.
