i am arriving in august at guangzhou airport at 2300, likely out of airport at maybe 2330.

I am arriving in August at Guangzhou airport at 2300, likely out of airport at maybe 2330.  Will be staying at New Century Hotel.  Does the shuttle bus run that late?  If not, how is best way to get to hotel that late at night?

Is the New Century Hotel you mentioned located in Huadu District of Guangzhou? If yes, I think you can take the Airport Bus Line 9. But you see, the final run is at 20:30. You may take a taxi to go there. It's about 12 kilometers from the Baiyun Airport.
