About:Visa Policy of China

I just purchased airline tickets to Shanghai Pu Dong airport for July and return in Aug. I am taking part in a volunteer work through Global Crossroads a volunteer organization, and I will be teaching children English in a Summer camp. I do not have a visa yet. I am awaiting a business letter invitation letter in order to apply for an F visa. I did not want to wait to purchase airfare due to increasing prices. Do you think this will be a problem to purchase airfare before obtaining a visa? Will this matter in relation to obtaining a visa?

Generally, it is required to book round-trip flight tickets before submitting the visa application. So you can book the air tickets right now.
