About:Empress Wu Zetian

I DON'T like Empress Wu AT ALL!!! She was selfish and cruel and she had no right to kill another human being. Nowadays she could get charged and arrested for doing that.

How many rulers of anyplace for any length of time never put anyone to death? If you have laws, you will have lawbreakers, and some of them will be put to death.

if u hate her then u should hate all the rulers there has been in any nations. some are incompetent or even more crueler than her. no monarchy has never ever killed another human being.

that is very true it was VERY MEAN but if you think about it she did do some helpful things like lower the taxs she was BAD/good dont you think?.

Please put things in context. Lifespan at that time was shorter than today. Women all over the far east were married young. Even today if a Japanese girl is not married after age 25 she is called a 'Christmas cake' meaning stale cake served on Dec.26th). Being married or being a concubine at a young age didn't automatically mean that the marriage was consummated at that age. Henry the Eight's mother was only 14 when he was born!!

WuZetian HAD to eliminate the troublemakers for the good of all mankind in China. The Tang Dynasty remains greatest of all the ruling dynasties because of her long reign. She is not any different from Catherine the Great in Russia or Queen Elizabeth I of England. In fact when these women ruled, it was a golden age for their countries... The people enjoyed peace and prosperity.

Wu Zetian was the only lady to rule a dynasty. I think she is cool because she was the only lady to rule the dynasty. But yeah, she had no right to kill her own child.

Yeah I mean who would kill their own child! But u don't get the point. She killed her own daughter and who would do that even if she broke a law.

It's not right to say that about her. She did have the right to do so to protect her surroundings. I would agree that it may be wrong to kill other people due to her selfishness and cruelty. But she did it for her's and the people's safety.. yes, nowadays you will/can get charged and/or get arrested for doing so, but, this is history and not present day. And she was in the royal family with the highest title during the time, so she had the right to kill other people. But thank you for stating your opinion about her. I have no right to judge you. I'm sorry if I offended you.
