I am an American travelling for the summer and now spending a couple of weeks in Italy visiting friends. I would like to travel to China in July but want to make my travel plans now. Is it possible for me get the VISA here in Italy while I am travelling in Rome? My concern is that I am planning to go to Paris and London in a couple of weeks and will need my passport to travel. How long can this process take, and is it possible? Thanks
