About:Guangxi Travel

I'm travelling from Canada to Nanning in October.
I will be landing in Hong Kong. Is it better to arrange to travel directly from H.K. to Nanning or to travel from H.K. to Guangzhou then to Nanning.

My sole purpose is to get to, and stay in, Nanning.
This is not a tour trip. Thank you.

Well, there is one coach leaving for Nanning from HK airport at 18:55 everyday. The fare is HK&350. If you miss the bus, you could transfer to Guangzhou and then go to Nanning by train or bus. But, both of them will take no less than 12 hours on the way. So, the third method, you could go to Shenzhen Airport from HK airport by bus or by ferry, and then go to Naning by air.

Hi. Mr.white
I am also a Canadian presently living in the beautiful city of Beihai, about 2 hours by bus from Nanning. If you wish ,you can contact me there. The most convenient way from H.K. to Nanning is to get the taxi at H.K. airport to Shenzhen. From Shenzhen it is then easy to fly to Nanning, about 1.5 hours, or, if you like the scenic route to see some of rural China, you can use the bus, about 7 hours.
