What is the best time to visit Jiuzhaigou? What's the weather like of Jiuzhaigou for the whole year?

The best season should be from late Sep to the end of Oct when the weather is comfortable for traveling. But, please don't go there in Oct 1-7 when it is the National Holiday in China. Is there a reason we should not go Oct 1-7? Only because it is crowded or will the park be closed?
