I can not recommend Monkey Island for anyone who likes animals. There were different monkey shows on stages; the monkeys were supposed to ride bikes and walk with stilts. When one monkey fell down with the very tall stilts and hurt its legs (they were bleeding), the animal trainer got mad, forced the monkey back to the stilts again and pushed the poor animals back so it had to run to stay on its feet. The same happened with a bike; one monkey fell down but was forced to ride again and the angry trainer ran behind this scared monkey. Trainers also did jerk the monkeys leashes so their necks hurt. It was a very sas visiting at the island.
