I am inquiring about the appropriate Visa required for my mother and my sister to visit China for 2-3 weeks in June. They will be staying with my brother who currently lives in China. Should they apply for a Tourist L or G visa? Also, they live in Raleigh, NC. Is there a local consular general office that they can apply for the visa in person? During their trip, they plan to visit several places within China (Shanghai, Beijing, Hang Zhou, and Guangdong) and then plan to visit Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
