About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

If I cannot make it to the embassy to apply for my visa, do I need an acknowledgement letter to entrust another person to apply on my behalf with the relevant documents?

You don't have to write an acknowledgement. Just give another person or agency the relevant documents.
