Hello, Rose
As far as I know, there is no direct train from Hong Kong to Xiamen.

I suggest you take the express train to Guangzhou first. The soft seat train ticket charge is CNY300.00 or CNY330.00 net per person. From Guangzhou East railway station, you can take the overnight train K297/K300 19:08/08:48 to Xianmen. As you can see, this train journey takes about 14 hours. The soft sleeper train charge is CNY316.00 net per person.

There is no direct train between Hong Kong and Macau. You may take Guangzhou as a connection. It takes around 2 hours from Hong Kong to Guangzhou by train and the ticket costs RMB300-330.00. There are many trains available.
Upon arrival in Guangzhou, you may take train K297/K300 1848/ 0921 to Xiamen. The soft sleeper train ticket costs RMB389.00. Alternatively, you may take a coach which takes around 8 hours to Xiamen from Guangzhou. The coach ticket costs RMB200.00. It runs 11 times per day.
The ticket price keeps the same no matter it is weekends or not.
