About:Embassy & Consulate of Hungary in China

I am Chinese, I am going to attend an international academic conference in August. Is it the invitation letter enough stamped by the director of the university who organize the conference?

TO Mr. Chen:
Thank you very much for your help. But the website do not specify the requirement of invitation letter. I am in Fujian Province.Offics in the department of international cooperation and exchange of Xiamen university told me that I should prepare the invitation letter issued by the Hungary local police department but the meeting organizer insist that their invitation letter only stamped by the director of the university ? I am very puzzled about that. So can you help me?

If the unversity is authorized to issue an invitation letter, then it is ok. You should chech if the organizer is entitled to issue the letter by a relevant governmental organization.

Thanks very much. I would like to attend the COLLOQUIUM SPECTROSCOPICUM INTERNATIONALE XXXVI, August 30 – September 3, 2009, http://www.csixxxvi.org, and the Chairman is Prof. Dr. Gyula Zray, Etvs University. The conference committee sended me the invitation letter stamped by the chairman. Does it ok?
