About:Social Economy of Tang Dynasty

where did people live in the Tang dynasty. did the majority live in cities or rural areas.

In the Tang Dynasty, the economy of South China was well developed. The population in the North China started to immigrate into the south. The majority lived along the Yellow River and the Yangtze River. The minorities mainly lived in southwestern and northwestern rural areas.
