Thank you very much for your reply,Mr.Jerry. It helped me a lot.But I am still a little concerned what people say that we foreigners cannot take the bus to Shigatse.

You are concern about the safety?! You won't come alone, will you?! If you have travel fellows and you can rent a vehicle too, or participate a local tour there. Enjoy your time there, I wish I cold be there too, in the comming few months.
