Go to the Yuyuan Garden, Jade Budda Temple, Xintiandi and the narrow lanes. The Zhujiajiao and Qibiao Town are full of old flavor~ A little far, you could leave for the Zhouzhuang Old Town to see the typical resident and life in South China.

There're many anonymous but marvelous sites in almost every districts in Shanghai such as an old street and ordinary residence and even former residences of celebrities. You just need some patience too experience them. Shanghai is a big palace to go sightseeing.
