About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I have heard that expedited VISA service has been canceled for U.S. passport holders. can you tell me if this is currently in effect for U.S. citizens seeking Visas for travel from Singapore to China.

I am also concerned about the requirements, but I havem't heard about any confirmed news from the official websites.
