About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hi
Me and some friends are going on holidays for a week to Beijing and we need to apply for a visa.
We all have different nationalities from the European Union but all of us are working and living in Ireland.
As we are from the EU we do not need/have a working or living permit. Do you think this will an inconveninece to apply for a visa? if so, how do we need to proceed? how long before the trip do we need to apply for the visa?

Thanks in advance for your replays.

Mofin

Mr Mofin, the rule from the site of the embassy says: :"Non-Irish passport holders are supposed to apply for any type of Chinese visa in the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their home countries, with the exception that one is residing and working in Ireland. Besides the basice documents, the residence and working permission are required." You don't havet the residence permit. So I assume you should go back to your home country to apply in person or you can ask your relatives in your country to apply for the visa on your behalf.
