The ancient Chinese people from Spring and Autumn Periods (770 BC - 476 BC) to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) built it. Yes, I checked the information in this website:)

The construction Great Wall extended in many dynasties.
It started in the Qin Dynasty and ended in the miny Dynasty
