About:China Train

hi,
my friends and i will be visiting shanghai on June 11 to 17. we are planning to visit Beijing too. would you know what site can we browse pictures of the bullet train hard sleeper for comparison purposes because only the soft sleeper is available in the internet. and also, train fare if we choose to include dinner.

The national train schedule upfated on Apr 01, 2009. Now hard sleeper train is so limited and sure less comfortable than the soft one. The soft berth is about ￥730.00 net per person. For the dinner, there is usually one dining compartment on the train. You may go there, a la carte dishes and pay on the spot.
But the meals cannot be compared with taht of you have in the cities. Then, bring something to eat with you seems to be a better choice.

greetings, this is my first travel to china, and i will be arriving in shanghai tomorrow at 23:45 and be going to Qingdao which has a first flight at about 7:55 next day.I plan just to take the train. What would be the first schedule in going to Qingdao from Shanghai. Thanks
