I and my brother will be there in shanghai from 23rd of to 26th of june 2009, for attending the CPHI China exhibition 2009, i need to know how can we catch a train on 26th june for Hongkong which will be our next destination, and also wnat to know about travel time between both cities by train and also charges of train tickets.

Hello Mr. Asim, if you want to take the train to Hongkong, since the soft sleeper train tickets are always in great demand, you'd better book the train tickets 5-7 days before you leave. According to the latest flight schedule, there is only one train of Shanghai/ Kowloon available, it is T99 1709/1305, which will take you about 19 hours and 56 minutes, a quite long journey. The price for the upper overnight soft sleeper ticket is CNY600.00, while the lower soft sleeper train charge is CNY627.00. Hope the above info. is helpful.
