About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am a New Zealand citizen travelling on a "Tempory visitor" visa in Japan. I want to vist China for 5 days during May. Should I apply for a visa at the Chinese consulate in Japan or on arrival in Hong kong ?

You can apply for China visa at either of the two places.
