Was there begin of April. Its a place absolutely worth to go. Its only a pitty that the admission fees are not included in the entrance-fee...We took the speed boat from Shenjiamnen to Putuo. Very convenient. Fare is 19Yuan. The main city of Zhoushan, Dinghai, is another nice place to go.Take the bus 27 at Zhoushan-Ferry terminal (right outside the port area). Takes some time more than a tax, but the fee is only 2 Yuan (Tax wants 40-80 Yuan!!)

Hi! Mr Roger, may i know hoo to get to shengjiamen? Im thinking of doing a day trip to Putuo as i have a day( free & easy from my package) or 2 days 1 nite ( to skip one night stay in shanghai central and stay over in Putuo which i have to spend more money to book. what do u suggest? I know shillipu port schedule departs from shanghai only on fri, 6pm or 7pm. and no schedule of return. Pls advise if you know the fastest way to TRAVEL AND BACK fr Putuo the very day..
