how can i travel between hongkong and taiwan?? is there any other transportation besides plane?? which is the cheapest way??

Just plane. No train no boat. It seems there are ferry schedule available in Macau. People in mainland CHina usually choose to take place to Taiwan though Hong Kong or Macau, or take ship from Xiamen in Fujian.
