About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

I am from Singapore, and I will be crossing over to Nanning by train from Hanoi. We will may stay in China for more than 15 days (the maximum number of days allowed visa-free for Singaporeans).

We want to apply for a Chinese visa in Singapore, but we do not have tickets booked yet.

Would it be better if we applied for a Chinese visa in Hanoi instead?

The flight tickets are not necessarily required for your booking. You can have a try in Singapore. For singaporean passport holders, Chinese visa rules are somewhat lax.
