About:China City Guide

Hello All,
Im planning to visit Beijing via Hongkong on the 1st week of May, what is the affordable transport from Hongkong to Beijing?

Train and plane are both okay. Train ticket for soft sleeper is over 700rmb and fpr hard sleeper 470rmb. The air ticke is some 1200 rmb at the cheapest now.
