About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

Mr Henry,

I am living on Vancouver Island and I know I have to go to the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver, but I do not have a passport application form and I do not know where to get one online. Also I would like to get a copy of the passport application requirements. When I go to the consulate, can I make an appointment or do I have to wait in line? Do you know? Do you know when people start waiting outside the consulate in the morning? Thank you for your help.

Ms.Grace, you can download a Passport Application Form from the website http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/ce/cees/chn/xnyfgk/P020050707786546256375.doc
You should make a photocopy of the requirements beforehand if you need them.
You have to wait in line when you go to the consulate. Appointment is not required. The office hours in the morning is from 9:00 to 12:00, so you'd better reach there at 9:00
