About:Guangzhou Weather

Everybody says that July and August are the worst months to visit, however, that is the only time of the year I can go. I am arriving at Guangzhou late July and leaving mid August. Is the humidity really going to be very bad? Should I bring something special to deal with the humidity and hot weather?

Take it easy! Guangzhou is not a tropical forest in summer. I think it is not as humid as those coastal cities in southmost China. It is hot anywhere then so take your summer clothes and sunblocks are enough. Really no need to worry too much!

There is no need to worry about. Though the sunshine here is quite strong in summer and suddenly you will be caught in a big shower. Anyway, all you need is that remember to bring the sun-tan oil (15 degree will be ok) and always a foldable umbrella that can protect you from the sun and rain in your bag (you can buy it everywhere in GZ). So, just enjoy you vist to Guangzhou. Many places here air-conditioning, including bus, metro...
