About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

I want to apply for chinese business visa, i do have invitation letter from the hosting company and do i need any bank statement of mine for getting visa .
And what is the procedure , is there any need of appointment for china embassy in islamabad .

The bank statement is not required. Well, if you present the recent bank statement, it may be helpful for your application. Passport, photo, application form and invitation letter are the needed documents.
