About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

I am a British citizen, working in the UAE, married to a Chinese lady for 8 years who has her own property in China. When we eventually leave the UAE we would like to live in China for a few years and have our young daughter's early education there. Is it possible to apply for a permanent resident visa for myself and daughter through the embassy in Abu Dhabi

You can apply for a Chinese resident visa since you own property in China.
