will the embassy in Bangkok be open between the 13th and 20th April 2009 (Thai New Year)?otherwise any ideas for getting a visa from Bangkok during that period?please respond urgently. thanks.

hi,i called STA travel Bangkok and they said the embassy would be up and running on 16th (if you are willing to pay big money you ($ -100) you can get the visa in a day) but since then Songkran has been extended by two days so not sure now. i've given up! :(try calling travel agents in Bangkok who may know as many of them arrange visas.good luck.
