About:Lingering Garden

I would like to travel to Yunnan in October this year. I would like to travel from Dali to Deqin for trekking and sightseeing. I would like to spend 1-2 months for this journey.
Is this possible on an individual basis ? When should I begin the visa application process ?

It is possible. To apply the visa 1 or 2 months before intended date of arrival in China.
