About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm moving to China in June.
I am travelling for three months until August but I start one academic year in a Chinese university in September.
As I will stay in China and not come back to Europe, I would like to book one way ticket only.
However, the embassy requires a return ticket to process the touristic visa that I need to cover the period from June until August.

My question is... will the embassy give me a touristic visa if I only buy a one way ticket ?

Thanks a lot for your reply

Flo.

Actually, it is not compulsory to have a flight ticket to get your visa approved. You can have a try with your single-trip ticket at the embassy.
