About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi, first, Thank you guys for your reply in my previous posts. I still have some questions about applying for tourist visa in Thailand.

How to entrust someone to apply for the visa on my behalf? If I ask a friend to go to Bangkok and apply for the visa on my behalf, what kind of documents I should give to this friend besides my passport? Do I need to write a letter saying that this guy is representing me to apply for the visa etc., things like this?

Thank you so much in advance.

Kath

You don't need to writting a letter saying he is representing you. Besides your passport, you should give him your recent photos and other required materials such as the photocopy of proof of your hotel reservation, aslo your valid Thai visa or resident permit in Thailand.
