I just got my visa for 30 days but I plan to be in China for 40 days. How can I extend the visa?

Hi,

I just got my visa for 30 days but I plan to be in China for 40 days. How can I extend the visa.
Do I need to apply for an extension in Ireland before I leave or can I apply for it when I am in China.

After your arrival in China, you can extend your period of stay in China by applying for a residence permit at the local public security bureau.
