About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

HEllo: My name is John Abrams and I am an American currently in Cebu Philippines. I am awaiting an invitation letter to teach English in Nanchang China. I will be bringing my Uncle with me who Will stay several months before returning home to the U.S.
I found I must get my visa here before I leave for China,so may I inquire if it is possible to receive it in Cebu or must I go to Manila? Also what is the procedure or my uncle to accompany
me? He is retired and my only living relative so I would like vey much to spend as much time as possible with him, traveling and touring the many attractions in China when time allows.
Thank you very much for your time, I will await your reply.
Sincerely: John Abrams

Mr John Abrams,
You and your uncle can apply for Chinese visa in the Consulate-General in Cebu. Besides the basic documents that you needed for application in your home country, you need to provide an extra valid residence permit or visa in Philippines.
