About:China Travel Tips

In April, I and my family (5 persons)would like to travel from Shantou to Chenghai to visit our relatives there.

Please give me your suggestions how to go to Chenghai from International Hotel in Shantou.

Excuse me, it's Chenghai or Shanghai? I guess it should be Shanghai. You can take a plane at Shantou Waisha Airport to Shanghai. Or if you want a budget trip, you can choose train. But there is no through train between Shantou and Shanghai. You can go from Shantou to GUangzhou and then take a train at Guangzhou Railway Station to Shanghai.

Chenghai is a district in Shantou, not far from the downtown of Shantou City. The International Hotel is only 17.5 kilometers from Chenghai Center. You can take a taxi to go there. Or you take a city bus to go there. The bus routes include 18, 102 and 103. You can get off at Chenghai Coach Bus Terminal.
