Could anyone please advise me if the airport has reopenned at Jinghong.

Yes, the airport is open. I have taken flight from Kunming to Jinghong last Tuesday:)

I think you will really enjoy Jinghong, I have lived here for 10 years and I too am Australian. The airport should be open now.
