Longzhou Long-distance bus station offer regular buses to Dunhuang with both seats and sleepers. For the 1,100 km distance, it will take twenty hours.

Tourist special trains are available and you can also take trains to Xinjiang which will stop at Dunhuang. 14 hours for the trip.

For flights, direct flights are offered and the air ticket is about 700 rmb at the cheapest. Dunhuang can be arrived in one hours and a few minutes.
