About:Top 10 Weapons of Terracotta Army

why is there a picture of a sheild when so many books and sites say that the army didnt use them? Wasn't their vigilance and bravery considered enough?

Didn't use shields? What type of inadequate history books were you reading?

All Qin melee soldiers that weren't carrying two handed weapons carried a shield.

Armies during the time period relied extensively on composite bows and armor piercing crossbows. Having an army without shields is suicide - it's basically inviting the enemy to shoot at them with arrows.
