About:Nanning Travel

Nanning is aslo a transit-station city.You can take bus or train directly to hanoi every day.Or if you want to travel around china.It's also a good place to start your trip.Because there are many ways to others cities .I'm from Nanning and would love to help and show everyone around in my lovely city.:)

I will be travelling to Nanning in Late Spet/early Oct 2009.
Can you please highlight me on how to get to Nanning and then subsequently to Guilin for my flight back to malaysia.

Hi Ricky chong,
Glad to hear that you will visit Nanning soon.How to get to Nanning it depends on from where.If you come here from Malaysia,there are some cheaper ways can let you get here(You can directly fly to Nanning from Malysia but the airfare is expensive.1.Fly to Hanoi(Vietnam)(I think you can buy a very cheaper ticket) and then take bus to Nanning(the bus will cost you about 21.4 Us dollars,7 hours) 2.Fly to Guangzhou and then take bus or train to Nanning(9 hours,about 26 Us dollars)
When you get to Nanning,you can by bus or train to Guilin(It's very cheap and about 5~6 hours)
Try to use Tiger Airways or Airasia..You can get some very cheap air ticket.Don't hesitate to ask me if you need help in Nanning

Mr. Brent, My wife and I will be arriving in Nanning on July 12th, from Hanoi. We already have a hotel reservation but can you recommend a tour agency, with an English speaking guide, who could take us to the Yangmei Ancient Town for a tour and possibly the Yiling Yan caves, if convenient? We depart on the 13th for Hong Kong. Thanks for your help.

Hi, we want to travel by bus from Hanoi to Nanning beginning of Dec, then catch the train that night from Nanning to Shenzhen, but we were told you had to buy the tickets there on the day, we are Aussies and require to have our tickets pre purchased before we leave, how do we go about pre-purchasing our tickets???
