About:Xian Travel

I am 18 and I'm thinking of doing 2 week volunteer work with the Cross-Cultural Solutions group to help at an orphanage in Xi'an in June. They will provide boarding, transportation and meals. Have you heard of this program? Any precautions?

I'm also going with the program but I will be going from May to June. I don't know whether or not you have gotten the information packet from CCS but they have literally just about everything you need to know. I was informed by one of my professors who frequently visits China that your time there will be censored, you'll see "nice" scenes of China

Mr Kenny:
I know some kind of this program.I went one with a hostel. The food in the orphanage is not very delicious.you can take more gift, cloth , books for the children, they like it.
