About:China Tourist Visa

I have a question regarding a China Visa for travel June 2009..........
The first company I was going to go with to apply for my Visa said I needed to send copies of ALL travel itineary documents including airline info & hotel confirmations. The second company said those documents were only needed last year during the Olympics. They told me that in 2009 the only thing we needed to mail in would be a valid passport and one extra photo.
Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me before I send in my passport.
Thanks

Mr Doris,
The visa regulation was reinforced during the Olympics. It is true that it has been somewhat loosened, but I am not sure if all other documents(flight tickets, hotel confirmation) will be exempt from your application. Well, if the agents can handle the application with few documents, let them apply on your behalf.
