About:China Embassy in Thailand

Hi,

I am in Beijing and starting work with a new company. I have a Z Visa Invitation Letter that under current regulations must taken to an embassy outside China for issuing the visa. Can I do that in Bangkok?

Thank you.

Where are you from? Which country's passport do you hold? It is better go back to your home country to apply for a China visa.

I am from the USA. Perhaps "it's better" but far more expensive and I miss a lot more work. Is it possible to receive it in Bangkok?

I notice a foreigner below was advised that he can receive it in Bangkok and he is not from Thailand.

Thanks!

Mr Jon,
Yes, you can get a China visa in Thailand. You have to hold a valid visa for Thailand or have a Thai residence permit.
