Hi there, I am a local guy from Shennongjia. An airport is under construction in Shengnongjia. The construction of the Shengnongjia Airport was inaugurated on February 18. The construction project is expected to be finished in three years. By then, it will be very convenient to visit the Forest Zone. Welcome to my hometown!

Hello Mr. Hang,I will be travelling there about in ten days.  I would like to get information on the best way to experience the natural beauty of the area.  I've been on several tours of mountain destinations in China (Juizhaigou, Kunming) and I'm trying to decide if I should travel with a tour group or make it on my own.  I will be travelling with a Chinese companion, so language is not a problem.  I also would like to know how much time I should stay in the area and what hotels are available.  Any advice will be deeply appreciated.Andrew

Hi Mr Hang,I have been living in Shanghai for the last five years, I drive by myself and I'm quite used to travel through China. I would like to visit the forest Park in July and I'm thinking to drive from Shanghai. Possibly I would like to climb the Shennong Ding pick, but I would like to engage a mountaineer guide, for safety reason. Do you know anybody that can help me? I also need  information about the local accomodation and some practical suggestions to organize myself for the excursion/trekking. Thank you, Carlo
