How can I get from tianjin port (xingang) to tianjin train station to take a fast (T) train to Beijing? how much would a taxi cost?

Most convenient method is by taxi. Expect to pay about 150yuan. Alternative, depending on your timing, is to take the bullet train to Beijing from Tanggu Station at 12.14, 13.44, 17.04, or 19.59. Tanggu station is abou 10km from the port, taxi about 20yuan, fare to Beijing 70yuan.
