It is said that the ship leaveing Tianjin for Dalian have been cancelled temporarily. So, you may consider taking a train to Dalian. There are three scheduled trains departing from Tianjin to Dalian everyday. The journey is about 10 hours and costs about 200-220rmb for a hard-sleeper.
